What is the Legacy Society?

Launched in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary, the CHRISTUS Cabrini Legacy Society is a distinguished group of donors united by their shared commitment to advance CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital’s mission to, “extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.” Membership in this society is earned through cumulative contributions of $75 per month ($900/year), and offers members the chance to actively participate in elevating healthcare in Central Louisiana.

How It Works

What makes the Legacy Society unique is it’s participatory approach. Members are able to collectively decide how to allocate the society’s cumulative contributions to address one of the region’s most pressing health needs. Each December at the Legacy Luncheon, hospital leadership presents a curated list of impact funding opportunities, ranging from innovative medical technology to patient care programs, facility improvements or staff development initiatives. Through a transparent voting process, Legacy Society Members have a direct voice in shaping the future of the hospital and ensuring that their contributions make a tangible difference.
